Gentle Yoga

TCB Yoga (Taking Care of Backs)
This is a beginner and continuing level class taught by Annie Wegner LeFort, RYT, for those who interested in gaining strength and flexibility in their backs. We welcome you whether you are healing from an injury or hoping to prevent strain and pain from lifestyle-related movement or lack thereof.
If you have suffered a back injury, it’s recommended that you get clearance from your care provided before joining this practice. Bring a yoga mat or purchase one at the site for $10.

In this 30-minute all-levels class, we will explore various types of meditation: self-guided, mantra, guided imagery, etc. and pranayama (mindful breathing exercises). Bring a cushion or yoga mat.

Through yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (mindful breathing) we will learn to activate these chakras. We will also explore the elements, colors, seed sounds, and themes related to each of them.

Bring a yoga mat or purchase one at the site for $10.
The Yoga Yamas and Niyamas
Join us for a “book club” exploring yoga’s ethical practices, The Yamas and Niyamas, through Deborah Adele’s namesake book. This monthly discussion will delve into the 8-Limbed Path of Yoga and includes a copy of the book, gentle yoga, and takes place on the following dates: 9/30, 10/28, 11/25, 12/16, and 1/13. Creating New Year Intentions (For Couples)
Join me for an evening of Co-Creating Your Intentions for 2025 in Annie's Bay View home (address offered upon registration.)
Who is invited: committed couples who want to build a relationship with more purpose, consistency, better communication, awareness, and adventure.
In this workshop we will move through connection exercises to help you write intentions (ways you want to live) for the new year. A 3-course seasonal meal will be served with a 4th course of dessert available to take home. Mocktails and Tea also served. BYOB for dinner.
